We are delighted to announce Chris Goulding as our latest Helping Hoops Ambassador.
Chris currently plays for our Sporting Partner Melbourne United where he is responsible for many of the three-pointers that have helped raise money for Helping Hoops thanks to our partnership with the club and Sportsmart. Chris also added the title of Olympian to his already impressive resume after he represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Chris’ support of Helping Hoops dates back to 2013 when you first visited a program and participated at the 24 Hour Charity Shootout. His 2013 Shootout record of 345 free throws in 15 minutes still stands to this day despite hundreds of people trying their best to beat the mark since.
Recently, Chris has used his brand of CG43 to benefit Helping Hoops by producing T-shirts that were sold at United home games and raised a total of $2,000 for the charity. He has again supported the 24 Hour Charity Shootout as well as coming out to get to know our kids and create a deeper connection between himself and Helping Hoops at the grassroots level.
We are excited to have Chris on board and look forward to continuing the already great relationship we enjoy going forward.
