The Helping Hoops Baller of the Month is Melisa (one S). Melisa is one of the familiar faces at our Croxton program and has been involved with Helping Hoops since 2011. Melisa is best known for her massive smile and commitment to all facets of the program. She accepts all the different challenges that are involved in each session and completes them with an undisputed enthusiasm.
Melisa says “I’ve made too many friends at Helping Hoops. The best part is that you have these friends there that you can communicate with and talk to. Helping Hoops has taught me how to be more independent and to look after myself and my friends more.”
