2014 24 Hour Charity Shootout is Now Open

By 14/05/2014News

How many free throws can you shoot in 15 minutes?

On Saturday & Sunday July 5-6, Helping Hoops will hold the third annual 24 Hour Charity Shootout at Albert Park College. Over 160 participants will shoot as many free throws as they can in 15 minutes and raise money for Helping Hoops by seeking sponsorship form their friends, family and work colleagues.

Last year, we hit 10,000 free throws and raised over $14,000 thanks to the help of over 75 participants, and special guests like Kyrie Irving and Chris Goulding! This year, we’re aiming to raise over $20,000 with the help of our wonderful supporters (you??).

Watch Kyrie Irving’s visit to last year’s 24 Hour Charity Shootout below!

As well as having a lot of fun and supporting a great cause, there are also some amazing prizes on offer for participants, including basketballs signed by Kobe Bryant and the entire LA Lakers team.

To see the full list of prizes, and to register your 15-minute time slot, go to helpinghoops.com.au/24.

We look forward to seeing you on the weekend of July 5-6.
