May 5 saw Helping Hoops celebrate our fourth birthday. Like all four year-olds, we’ve developed at a rapid rate and are learning every day. Also like all four year-old, we’re having a lot of fun but also realise our best years and biggest achievements are yet to come.
There was no fanfare, balloons or birthday cake; we celebrated the day by delivering our two regular Monday programs (Helping Hoops Sunshine and Fitzroy) and planning the many events and projects we have to come.
A big thanks to all those who have worked to make Helping Hoops the organisation it is. From coaches and volunteers to participants and our partners, Helping Hoops is strong because of your support, and we look forward to welcoming even more people into our growing community in the years to come.
