With a heavy heart, we share the news that Adam McKay, the beloved founder of our organisation, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024 after a short battle with stage 4 brain cancer.
While heartbroken and feeling the depth of this loss, we remember and are eternally grateful for Adam’s vision and dedication as the founder of Helping Hoops, and his generational impact and legacy that will continue to inspire us all.
Our heartfelt condolences go to Adam’s wife Yuki, his daughters Lindsey and Naomi, and his countless friends and collaborators throughout the community.
