24 Hour Charity Shootout Registrations Open for 2016

By 07/05/2016News

Registrations for the 2016 24 Hour Charity Shootout are now open! This year’s Shootout is set for June 25-26 at Albert Park College in Melbourne, but also offers the chance for anyone to participate no matter their location. The event will see over 150 people and their friends and families will take part and fundraise for Helping Hoops. Participants register to shoot as many free throws as they can in 15-minutes while receiving sponsorship. Funds raised go toward keeping Helping Hoops programs free for disadvantaged children across Melbourne, which run weekly in Fitzroy, Sunshine, Broadmeadows, North Melbourne, Richmond, Croxton, Footscray and Dandenong.

Check out the highlights from last year’s 24 Hour Charity Shootout!

For those able to join us at Albert Park, there are also carnival games, prize giveaways, exhibitions, food and other attractions on offer to make the 24 Hour Charity Shootout a great family-friendly event for all attending. The Shootout is now in its fifth year, and has included guests such as NBA All Star, Kyrie Irving, owner of Attica Restaurant, Ben Shewry, Australian Boomer, Chris Goulding, former NBA/NBL player, Chris Anstey, and WNBL and Australian Opals, Tegan Cunningham and Alice Kunek. International and local guests will be announced soon.

This is the one time of year where we need your help. Register now and take part in the 24 Hour Charity Shootout, either by joining us at Albert Park College, or by shooting in your local area. Click here to choose your shooting time.
