Nyawetch is 8 years old and participates in the Helping Hoops Fitzroy program on Mondays with Coach Omar and Coach Renee. She is known for her positivity, never-give-up attitude and willingness to help others. Nyawetch takes on new challenges given to her by her coaches, and is a great member of the Fitzroy program.
Nyawetch says “My favourite thing about basketball is making new friends every week. It makes me feel happy that there are people here to help me and cheer me on.”
