Arek is 9 years old and has participated in the Helping Hoops Richmond program on Thursdays for over 5 years. She is known for her positivity, determination and willingness to help out her fellow friends. Arek welcomes new challenges given to her by Coach Steve, and is a positive member of the Richmond program.
Arek says “My favourite thing about basketball is learning how to shoot and making new friends. Everyone here is a friend and I like them when they’re nice and even when they’re mean.”
