Helping Hoops introduced a brand new mascot over the weekend to help add some colour and fun to programs for our participants. The basketball-loving pigeon was without a name until the Helping Hoops community came together and decided “Swoop” best suited the feathered hero.
Swoop features on a new poster that will be given to all Helping Hoops participants, and incentivises attendance by encouraging them to collect stickers at the end of each session. Prizes will be awarded at the end of each term to those who have turned up on a regular basis and done all that is asked of them by Helping Hoops coaches.
